I’m Miia, a professional artist model based in Essex, working across London, Essex and beyond.
I specialise in life modelling, portrait, photography and creative projects, working with artists, photographers, art groups and educational settings.
I enjoy creating a strong pose, holding still when it matters and bringing character and energy into a session. From traditional life drawing to creative concepts, body paint and character work, I love the variety that modelling brings.

Portraiture is one of the most interesting parts of modelling: the same face can become something completely different in every artist’s hands.
Every artist sees something different. A small selection of artworks created from sessions where I modelled.
Selected experience includes life-drawing sessions, workshops, portrait projects and creative collaborations with artists, photographers, art groups and educational settings.
Life modelling is a professional collaboration between model and artist. I understand the importance of privacy, professionalism, boundaries and the studio environment, particularly when working in educational settings. Many life-drawing sessions do not permit photography, so I don’t photograph sessions unless permission has been given. Instead, my portfolio focuses on my professional modelling work and artwork created from my poses.
